Today's Baking Creation: Gluten Free Baked Donuts.
We bought a donut pan awhile back and I have been wanting to make safe donuts for Charlie and I. My opinion is that they were flat, a little bland but the light texture and sweetness were great. Not bad for a first try. They were not as cakey and dense as I thought they would be. Next time we'll try a different recipe. Dad wants us to make jelly donuts, totally different ballpark. I always like to start with the basic recipe, dissect it, then doctor it up to my tastes. -Mindy
Donuts are one of my favorite things to eat. I was really disappointed when I figured out that donuts were out of Charlie's diet. When it's not on his diet then it's not on our diet either because it wouldn't be fair for us to eat something that he loves. So when Mom picked up a donut pan at the store, I was really excited. Now we finally got a chance to make donuts and they're delicious! They were super easy to make too. I made them by myself and it was easier than cookies. Just measure everything into a bowl, mix it, and bake it. - Molly
Oops, what happened to that one?
