Today's recipe is Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies; Molly's Version! Yummy, huh? This is my first time making them, but boy are they delicious. I used Andes Mints in combination with mini chocolate chips to boost the chocolaty chipness of a traditional chocolate chip cookie, but still give it a perfect balance of mint flavor. But if you prefer traditional chocolate chip cookies, I know how to make really super good chocolate chip cookies too.
Please don't let the appearance deceive you; these are NOT regular chocolate chip cookies. My mom says that the mint in the cookies leaves a nice, delicate tingle in the back of your throat. My dad says they are of gourmet quality. I say they need less butter. Oh well. I'll see you next recipe!
